Boys & Girls 2-11 yrs
1)Boarding Pupils: £125 Bursary First Term - 20 places
Applicable, new girls 6-10 yrs, boys 6-9 yrs. Not based on academic ability.
2)Boarding Pupils: Academic Scholarships - 5 places
Girls 6-10 yrs, boys 6-9 yrs. Available to new pupils of exceptional ability by sitting an exam. Worth, per year, up to £1000 (boarding).
3) Boarding Pupils:
Girls Only - 5 places
Applicable to girls only aged 6-10 yrs at time of application. Available to new girls of proven good ability. Worth up to £675 per year towards boarding in Chapter House.
Boys Only - 2 places
Applicable to boys only aged 6-9 yrs at time of application. Available to new boys of proven good ability. Worth up to £1250 per year towards boarding fees.
Boys Only - 10 places
Applicable to boys only aged 6-9 yrs at time of application. Available to new boys of proven ability. Worth up to £750 per year towards boarding fees.
Girls Only 11-19 yrs
4) Boarding Pupils: £250 Bursary First Term - 20 places
Applicable, new girls only, 11-16 yrs. Worth a one-off payment of £250.
5)Boarding Pupils: Academic Scholarships - 10 places
Applicable, new girls only, 11-16 yrs at time of application. Available to girls of exceptional academic ability by sitting exam. Up to £1000 off the fees, every year until end of 6th form.
6) Sixth Form:
Academic 50% Fees - 2 places
Boarding, based on minimum 8 grade A GCSEs. Applicable new registrations. £6000 per year towards boarding.
Academic 25% Fees - 4 places
Boarding based on minimum 5 grade A, 3 grade B GCSEs. Applicable new registrations. £3000 per year towards boarding.

Bring Your Horse To School At No Cost For Livery
Pupils may bring their own horses on a paid livery basis. However, each year we offer some opportunities for riders to make savings. There are three options offered on a 'first come, first served' basis, plus our 'Adopt a Horse' offer.
Option A: For 7-19 yr Olds
We offer girl riders the opportunity to bring their own horses or ponies to school at no cost for livery. The value of this option is at least £1725 per year.You pay only the normal school boarding fees plus the cost of whatever level of riding lessons you choose. (Livery Type: Blue)
Option B: For 16-19 yr Olds
For pupils entering Sixth Form. Can cover ALL livery costs for horse or pony PLUS free equestrian tuition to BHSAI level by fully qualified senior instructors. This is dependent on equestrian ability. The value of this option is at least £3450 per year. You pay only the normal boarding fees. (Livery Type: Blue)
Option C: For 7-19 yr Olds
If you do not own a horse but are still a keen rider, there are offers, for boarders, of free equestrian tuition by professionally qualified instructors.
